Preparation
Before starting the quick tour, please make sure:
- DIGspace Desktop client is installed and activated successfully.
- Registered an account and logged in successfully.
- Normal network connection (for downloading sample project data).
TipThe whole experience takes about 3–4 minutes; just follow the steps, no need to prepare any data in advance.
Step 1: Import a sample project
- Operation path:Top menu bar → Project Name → Import Project Cases.
- Select an interesting sample project from the case list.
- Click 'Import' and wait for the data to download and load.
- After import, you enter the project automatically, and the left data panel shows the sample data.
NoteA sample project is prebuilt complete demonstration data, including collected data and interpretation results, that you can operate freely without affecting any real project.
Step 2: Browse 3D data
After import, browse data in the left data panel:
- In the '3D Data' or '2D Data' category, check a data item.
- Watch the VTK viewport at the top-right; data loads automatically and auto-Zoom to Fit.
Operating the 3D viewport with the mouse:
- Left-click drag → rotate view
- Right-drag → pan view
- Wheel scroll → zoom view
- Click the view-switch button on the VTK toolbar and try the top view, front view, and isometric view.
Step 3: Annotate an anomaly
When you find a suspected anomaly in the data, manually annotate an anomaly object:
- Double-click a data item in the data panel to open the detail page.
- Find the annotation tool on the detail page (its location varies slightly by method).
- Select an anomaly type and draw an anomaly area (point/line/polygon) on the data.
- Fill in anomaly attributes (name, description, severity, etc.).
- After saving, the anomaly will automatically appear in the left "Anomaly List", and also be displayed in the 3D viewport.
TipIf no anomaly types are defined yet, the system will prompt you to create one first — just follow the guidance.
Step 4: Export results
After completing the analysis, batch-export the results:
- Top menu bar → Project Management → Batch Export.
- Choose the export mode (file export or report export).
- Check the data and anomalies to export.
- Click 'Start Export' and wait for processing to finish.
- After export completes, download the ZIP package from the Export section in the menu bar.
TipWhen export completes, a notification is also pushed to the Activity Notification Center; click it to jump directly to the download.
FAQ on this page
- [Issue] Is the sample project's data real?
- Sample projects use desensitized real project data, so you can experience the complete workflow.
- [Issue] Can the sample project be deleted?
- Yes. Imported sample projects can be deleted or modified like normal projects.
- [Issue] How do I import my own data?
